There are generally three types of tasks that we perform
- Standard Tasks – Regular tasks categorised as Technical Marketing, Creative Marketing, or On-Page SEO. For more details, see What Is a Task.
- Priority Tasks – Tasks you can purchase on demand, either when you have reached your task limit or require them to be completed outside the timeline of your current plan.
- Preemptive Tasks – Tasks we undertake on your behalf, guided by insights from our tools, to proactively prevent any potential loss of value to your business.
→ Active Task Limit and How It Affects You
Active Task Limit refers to the maximum number of tasks that can be attended to simultaneously, as determined by your subscription tier.
Once your Active Task Limit is reached, any additional tasks are placed in a Queue, awaiting the completion of one of your current Active Tasks.
When an Active Task is marked as complete, the next task in your Queue automatically becomes Active..
→ Tasks Not Counted Towards the Active Task Limit
In our system, a task will not count towards your number of Active Tasks if it falls into one of the following categories:
**Priority Tasks** – When you upgrade a task by purchasing a Priority Pass.
**Preemptive Tasks** – When we contact you to address specific needs related to your account.

Q. Can the Active Task Limit be increased?
A. The short answer is yes—your task limit depends on the plan you are on. Higher plans come with higher task limits. However, if you are already at the maximum limit of 5 tasks (for example, with the Elite plan), you can still exceed this limit by purchasing Priority Passes for queued tasks, allowing them to become active.
Q: Is Active Task Limit account scoped or user scoped?
A. The Active Task Limit is account scoped, which means it applies to your entire account. Regardless of who submits a task, once your account reaches its limit, any additional tasks will be placed in the queue.
Q: Can I manage and re-prioritise my Queued Tasks?
A: Yes, simply message us through the portal, and we will reprioritise your tasks. Please note that the task must be in the queue, not Active, to be eligible for reprioritisation.
