At Growth Bubbles, your security is our priority. That’s why we rely on LastPass for password sharing. This industry-leading tool ensures your credentials are encrypted, safely transmitted, and protected from unauthorized access. Using LastPass allows us to streamline collaboration while keeping sensitive information secure—no more emails or sticky notes with passwords! Here’s how you can share your passwords with us confidently and effectively.

Why LastPass?

  • Encryption at its Best: Your passwords are encrypted before they leave your device, meaning no one—including LastPass—can see them.
  • Controlled Access: You decide what we can do with your shared credentials—view, use, or revoke access at any time.
  • Streamlined Sharing: A simple interface ensures sharing is quick and hassle-free, so you can focus on more important tasks.

Steps to Share Passwords via LastPass

  1. Log in to LastPass:
    • Visit LastPass and sign in to your account.
  2. Add the Account to Your Vault (If Not Already Added):
    • If the account you want to share isn’t yet in your vault:
      • Click the “Add Item” button.
      • Enter the website details, username, and password. Save the entry.
  3. Share the Password Securely:
    • In your vault, locate the item you want to share.
    • Click the three-dot menu next to the entry and select “Share.”
    • Enter [email protected] as the recipient.
    • Important: Select the option NOT to allow password viewing. This ensures we can only use the credentials without seeing the actual password.
  4. Send the Share Request:
    • Confirm the settings and click “Share” to send us access.

How to Revoke Access

If you no longer wish to share access:

  1. Open your LastPass Vault.
  2. Locate the shared item and click the three-dot menu.
  3. Select “Manage Shared Users” and remove [email protected] from the list.
  4. Save your changes.

This instantly revokes our access to the shared password.

FAQ

Q: Do I need to send you my WordPress logins with every task if I can’t share via LastPass?

A: No, you only need to create a dedicated WordPress user with the username “GBConcierge” and email [email protected]. Then share those login details (along with the password you choose)with us once through either PrivNote or a LastPass Secure Note. We’ll log in to your website with these credentials and connect your site(s) to our Management Tools.

Q: I’m having problems sharing the password via LastPass. What should I do?

A: If it’s urgent, share a temporary password securely via PrivNote for the specific task. Then, contact LastPass Support to resolve the sharing issue, so you can share securely via LastPass going forward.

Q: I don’t use LastPass. Can I share my password using a different password tool?

A: To keep things streamlined, we only accept passwords shared via LastPass or PrivNote encrypted notes. If you use another tool, we recommend signing up for LastPass to securely share your credentials with us.

Q: Can I share a login protected with 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) via LastPass?

A: Yes, you can share 2FA-protected logins via LastPass, provided the Time-Based One-Time Passcode (TOTP) is set up in LastPass for the shared entry. See How to Set Up TOTP in LastPass for guidance.
