What Happens After I Submit A Work Request A.K.A Task?

Last updated on January 3, 2025

Once you click the “Submit Work Request” button on our portal, our task dispatcher is immediately notified of your request. The dispatcher will carefully review the details you provided and follow these steps:

Step 1: Convert the Work Request into a Project and Task

  • Missing Information: If any essential details (e.g., access credentials, images, or other assets) are missing, you will receive an email requesting the required information.
  • Approval: If the request contains all the necessary information and is clear, you will receive an email confirming that your Work Request has been approved and is now a trackable Task.

Step 2: Assign the Task to the Appropriate Team

  • The dispatcher assigns your Task to the relevant Gurus—Web, Creative, SEO, or Automation—based on the details you provided.
  • You will receive a notification once the Task has been assigned, and the status will be updated to “Assigned”. You can track this update on your project dashboard.

Step 3: Review by the Assigned Team

The assigned team will review your Task to ensure they have everything needed to proceed seamlessly. During this process:

  • If the team has any questions, they will add comments to the Task.
  • You will receive an email notification when comments are added, and you can respond by replying to the email or logging into the portal to provide feedback directly on the Task thread.

Step 4: Task Completion and Confirmation

When the team completes the work as per your specifications, the Task status will be updated to “Ready to Complete”, signaling that your feedback is needed.

  • Revisions: If revisions are required, let the team know via the Task thread. The status will change to “Working” while the team addresses your requests.
  • Approval: Once you confirm the work is satisfactory, the team will mark the Task as “Completed”.

Automatic Completion Policy

If a Task remains in “Ready to Complete” status for more than 48 hours without your feedback, it will be automatically marked as “Completed”. However, you can always resubmit the Task if you need it reopened for further revisions.
